Anthony Musto

In the 2012 legislative session, Anthony worked alongside the Boys & Girls Village in Bridgeport to support new community and after school programs for at-risk children. He also worked to secure funding for new kitchen facilities at the Trumbull Senior Center, ensuring that Trumbull‘s seniors will be able to enjoy a healthy meal together.

Anthony received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from American University in Washington, D.C. and a law degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After law school, Anthony worked for the Georgia attorney general, litigating tax and other financial cases for several years before working with Arthur Anderson as a tax attorney. He established his own law office in Trumbull in 2002 and currently practices law in Fairfield.

No stranger to public service, Anthony became involved in Trumbull town government in 2002, eventually serving on the Town Council, Land Acquisition Committee, Treasurer, Pension Board and Capital Improvements Committee. He has volunteered his time organizing and assisting the Trumbull High School’s ACE Foundation. His wife Katherine served on the Trumbull Arts Commission and volunteers as a member of the State Advisory Council on Special Education.

Anthony has also served as a youth counselor at his church, a volunteer tax preparer for low-income individuals, and a board member and volunteer for a charity building low-cost housing and a member of the Jane Ryan Father’s Club.

Anthony lives in Trumbull with his family. His children attend Trumbull schools, and his wife works as a speech therapist in Trumbullʼs elementary schools.
