Fight the Flu: Get Your Flu Shot!

Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. Getting a flu vaccination (flu shot) is the best way to protect yourself from getting sick. The West Hartford/Bloomfield Health District will provide flu shots at the Elmwood Senior Center from 10 a.m. until Noon on Wednesday, October 25.

The Health District accepts most private insurances EXCEPT FOR United Health. The Health District DOES accept Medicare Part B. For those without insurance, or with United Health insurance, the cost for the flu shot is $30, payable by check or cash.
