FIGHTING FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Black Wall Street Bridgeport Continues Sunday

Last Sunday, I attended Black Wall Street Bridgeport, an event that brings together over 175 businesses and organizations who showcase their services every year.

Due to the rain, some of the entrepreneurs were not able to attend last Sunday, but that didn't stop the event from being a huge success, with over 100 businesses & organizations in attendance.

Despite the great turnout, Black Wall Street organizers want to give everyone who shied away because of the rain the opportunity to participate, so they decided to host Black Wall Street 5 for a second time. The "Extended Version" will take place this Sunday, September 10, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 729 Union Ave, Bridgeport.

The event will offer live music, line dancing, arts and crafts, vendors, and more!

Black Wall Street Bridgeport was created to inform and educate the communities of African-American influence in the city of Bridgeport and surrounding areas. For more information, please visit us at www.dreamlifeworks.com.
