Give a Little This Holiday Season

This is the time of year when we reflect on all that we are grateful for. For those of you who are looking for ways you can give back to the community, here are a couple ideas to get you started right here in Bridgeport.

Winter Gear Needed

You can help Puerto Rican hurricane victims now living in Bridgeport gear up for winter by donating new hats, mittens, boots, gloves, and scarves to ConnectiCare's Winter Gear Drive.

Clothing will go to students at Bridgeport's Warren Harding High School who've transferred from Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria.

Items can be dropped off at one of these ConnectiCare Centers:

  • 4551 Main Street, Bridgeport
  • 1487 Pleasant Valley Road, Manchester
  • 196 Kitts Lane, Newington
  • 835 Wolcott Street, Waterbury

The collection ends December 18.
