Don't Miss Out: Scholarships Available for the 2018-19 Academic Year

The Connecticut Community Foundation is now accepting college scholarship applications for students currently residing in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills. These scholarships can be used toward tuition in the 2018-19 academic year. Most of the scholarships can be renewed for up to four years.

There are multiple scholarships available, with deadlines due as early as February 15. To see the different scholarships available, visit the Connecticut Community Foundation's website. The Foundation also provides college scholarships directly to Naugatuck Valley Community College, which the school then distributes to eligible students.

As one of the largest college scholarship providers in the region, the Connecticut Community Foundation has awarded thousands of scholarships since 1989 thanks to the generosity of donors who have established over 130 scholarship funds to benefit area students. In 2017, the Foundation awarded nearly $940,000 in scholarships to more than 420 students.
