Job Training Opportunities Through EWIB

As Electric Boat gears up to hire thousands of new skilled workers in the next several years, along with other defense and manufacturing powerhouses like Sikorsky and Pratt & Whitney, the Eastern Connecticut Workforce Investment Board is accepting applications from people who are looking to get the training they'll need to fill these good-paying, middle-class jobs.

The Eastern CT Manufacturing Pipeline is a program through EWIB and the US Department of Labor-Workforce Innovation Fund which provides NO COST training that meets the needs of EB and other manufacturers throughout the region.

These are not your grandparents' manufacturing jobs--manufacturing has become a high-tech and clean industry which requires new skills and provides a career opportunity with upward mobility. Opportunities to obtain those skills are out there, and in this case, it's free!

If you or someone you know is considering entering this growing field, please take a look at this program and apply today!
