Nominate a Veteran!

The Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame was established to increase the awareness of the lifetime contributions of veterans after they leave military service. The Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame is not a military hall of fame; instead, it seeks to recognize veterans for the countless contributions they make to society after their military career is over.

Each year, the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame Committee selects at least 10 inductees from applications they receive from across the state and nation. Typically, these nominated veterans have been leaders in a variety of areas, such as the arts, education, public service, volunteer activities, or community and business groups.

To be eligible for entry into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame, a nominee must have served their country honorably in some branch of the military and continued to serve their community, state and nation after discharge.

If you know of a worthy nominee, act now!

All nomination packets for the 2017 Hall of Fame must be received by the Office of the Commissioner of Veterans' Affairs by 4 p.m. on Friday, September 29.

The nomination application can be downloaded online.
