Compensation Available for Optimum Cable Customers

Good news for Optimum customers in Milford, Orange and Woodbridge! As compensation for three months of diminished service while engaged in a contract dispute with WFSB Channel 3, affected Optimum customers can receive three free months of Showtime and Showtime on Demand (including Showtime Anytime); Starz & Encore, Starz on Demand & Encore on Demand; or TMC and TMC on Demand. In order to receive your free three months, you must call Optimum customer service at 203-870-2491 or visit one of Connecticut's Optimum stores, which are located in Litchfield, Bridgeport and Norwalk.

The CBS blackout on Optimum Cable went on far too long and was very frustrating for all of us, but I am glad that after we put the pressure on they resolved their dispute and are trying to make good on the problems they caused for their customers. I would personally have preferred that customers receive financial compensation for diminished service, but respect that Optimum is trying to do the right thing.
