Deputy President Pro Tem, Senator Eric Coleman (D-Bloomfield) announced the school construction bonding package approved by the General Assembly includes over $22 million for two major school building projects in the Town of Bloomfield.
An Act Concerning Authorization of State Grant Commitments for School Building Projects and Other School Construction Provisions includes $22.6 million for projects in Bloomfield:
"The competitiveness of Bloomfield public schools is of paramount importance to the town's overall objective of enhancing the quality of life for Bloomfield residents," said Senator Coleman. "Good, clean, safe and attractive Bloomfield schools will help to retain residents as well to attract new residents and businesses concerned about amenities for their employees. These two projects are a part of this overall objective."
