Senator Joseph Crisco (D-Woodbridge) has been honored for his support of the Boys & Girls Village. He was presented with the award during the organizations Annual Awards Dinner, held Thursday, February 7th, at the Grassy Hill Country Club, Orange.
The Boys & Girls Village offers foster care, adoption services and other programs for boys, girls and their families. The agency has offices in Milford, Bridgeport and Waterbury, and is funded by the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Education.
Senator Crisco was recognized by the Boys & Girls Village for his long and continuous service and support of the children, families and programs offered by the agency.
"The Boys & Girls Village has an outstanding record of providing foster care and other programs to help the children and families in Connecticut," said Senator Crisco. "I'm extremely pleased to be honored by an organization that has done so much over the years to benefit the children of our state."
