Williams Hosts Forum for Businesses in the 29th District

Tuesday, March 28, 2006, 6-8 P.M. EASTCONN, 367 Hartford Turnpike, Hampton, CT

Sen. Williams will host a business forum concerning issues facing businesses in the 29th Senatorial District (Brooklyn, Canterbury, Killingly, Mansfield, Putnam, Scotland, Thompson, Windham)

Sen. Williams will provide the opening remarks for the evening's event and open up a panel discussion with over 15 invited/confirmed participants ranging from small business owners to large business representatives to higher education representatives from Eastern Connecticut State University, the University of Connecticut and Quinnebaug Valley Community College, representatives from area hospitals and local legislators. Sen. Williams will also offer closing remarks following the panel.
