Hundreds Expected at New Haven Senior Fair
Senate Majority Leader Martin Looney to host Nov. 17th event featuring health screenings and social services information
State Senate Majority Leader Martin M. Looney (D-New Haven), and representatives from the US Social Security Administration, AARP, the state Commission on Aging, and many other organizations and government agencies.
The 11th District Senior Fair. The fair will offer one-stop information on services that are beneficial to seniors, their families and their caretakers and will feature organizations and government agencies including St. Raphael Hospital Geriatric Center, the state Department of Social Services, the state Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro’s Office and the United Illuminating/Energy Efficiency Fund. Representatives from Yale New Haven Hospital will be on hand to offer health assistance, outreach information and health screenings. All area seniors and their families are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided.
