LeBeau Welcomes Display of Local Student “Art at the Capitol” May 1st–15th
23rd annual display features artwork by 100 students from 3rd Senate District
State Sen. Gary D. LeBeau (D-East Hartford) today announced that the 23rd Annual "Art at the Capitol" display of artwork by over 100 public school students from East Hartford, East Windsor, Ellington and South Windsor began today and will remain on display through Thursday, May 15 in the underground concourse that connects the State Capitol with the legislative Office Building.
Sen. LeBeau will host a reception of the student artists, their family members and educators in the atrium of the Legislative Office Building on Thursday May 15, 2008. The award ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., and food and refreshments will be served afterwards. Parking is available in the Legislative Office Building garage.
