Senator Coleman was honored for his continued dedication to the elimination of childhood lead poisoning in Connecticut. The executive director of the Foundation for Educational Advancement, Dr. Vivian Cross, presented him with the award during the 2008 Health Education Lead Poisoning Community and Parent Informational Forum at the Legislative Office Building.
