State Senator Paul R. Doyle

Senator Doyle joins Representative Sandy Nafis, representatives of the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF) and Connecticut Light and Power (CL&P), and managers and employees of Stew Leonards for the presentation of a $1 million check to Stew Leonards for their participation in energy-efficiency programs at their Newington, Norwalk and Danbury stores. Over 30 energy-efficient measures were completed at the three locations, including high-efficiency lighting and LED signs, carbon dioxide controls, and an innovative heat pump loop system at the Newington store, which captures excess heat from some areas of the store and redistributes it to other areas that require it.
