State Senator Joan Hartley

Senator Hartley spoke to seventh grade students participating in the P.E.A.C.H. (Providing Early Acquaintance with Careers in Health) Program at North End Middle School in Waterbury. The students are learning about careers in health care through integrated classroom curriculum, professional speaker presentations and visits to Waterbury Hospital and Naugatuck Valley Community College. They also participate in activities such as CPR training and AHEC’s Spring Break Program. (October 7, 2009)
