State Senator Edward Meyer

Senator Meyer welcomed 40 4th-grade students from the Mary T. Murphy Elementary School in Branford to the Connecticut Senate Chamber. After debating the pros and cons of a pretend bill to extend the school year, students took part in a mock vote. Pictured left-to-right as they vote on the bill and check the tally board are: Karissa Ceniccola, Dalton Childs, and Artie Northrop. The bill failed. (April 27, 2009)
