State Senator Edward Meyer

Senator Meyer was part of the shoreline legislative delegation - including state Reps. Deborah Heinrich (D-Madison), Lonnie Reed (D-Branford) and Patricia Widlitz (D-Guilford) - who worked to prioritize and advocate for that state bonding, which will pay for approximately 13% of the overall cost of the new family center. $600,000 in state bonding was released by the State Bond Commission in December 2008 and will be used to reimburse building costs as construction progresses.
