On Friday, November 1, 2019, state Senator Matt Lesser (D-Middletown) participated in a dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting for the Francis T. Patnaude Pump Station on East Main Street in Middletown. Joining the senator is Middletown Mayor Dan Drew, Deputy Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Betsy Wingfield, former state Senator Paul Doyle, WPCA Chairman Dale Aldieri and Building Committee Chair Phil Pessina to celebrate the opening of the Mattabassett Regionalization pump station project.
