Senate President Martin M. Looney (D-New Haven) today released the following statement on the passing of Rep. Betty Boukus:
“Betty Boukus was a friend to everyone in the General Assembly. She dedicated her career in public service championing investments in communities all across Connecticut. For decades to come, her work will be seen in school buildings, road improvements and community centers across our state. Those of us who knew her will miss her friendship, her leadership and her guidance. I want to extend my deepest condolences to her family.”
