Senate President Pro Tempore Martin M. Looney, Speaker of the House Joe Aresimowicz, Senate Republican President Pro Tempore Len Fasano, and House Republican Leader Themis Klarides released the following statement regarding budget negotiations that took place today amongst legislative leaders.
“Today was a positive meeting with very serious negotiations and productive discussion. We are making progress and plan to continue efforts to work together. Staff work and discussions will continue over the weekend.”
