On Thursday afternoon, Senator Needleman and First Selectman Dennler will promote a $1.728 million grant awarded to Colchester by the State Bond Commission on September 8. The grant supports the completion of Norton Park, a new local recreation park, following the cleanup of the former Norton Paper Mill brownfield site. The park is expected to be complete in the autumn of 2027.
