On Tuesday, June 23, State Senators Martha Marx and Norm Needleman will welcome $2 million in state bond funding recently released by the State Bond Commission to support the Acton Library in Old Saybrook. These funds will help with renovations and upgrades to the library, including a new teen space with new technological offerings, a dedicated children’s office and staff work area in the Children’s room and reconfigured staff spaces.
