Moore Congratulates 2017 Graduates

Bridgeport— Senator Marilyn Moore (D-Bridgeport) this week was the honored guest speaker at Bryant Elementary School’s 6th grade graduation ceremony.

Sen. Moore was invited to attend the ceremony by one of the graduates, Jaysa Mellers, who met the Senator during Bridgeport Day at the State Capitol earlier this year. Sen. Moore thanked Jaysa, her mother Tiffany Mellers, Bryant School Principal Victoria A. Egri, and 6th grade teachers Ms. DePault and Mr. Ung, for welcoming her to their community school.

In her remarks to the students and parents, Senator Moore shared a personal story from her youth.
